the picture was taken at 10am on the 22nd of june. and guess wat time the show started yday night? 920pm.
that was how i spent my 22nd june on the year 2004. waiting for the once-in-my-17-yrs-of-lifetime chance to watch the band, LINKIN PARK. perform live.

n it was awesome.

the show was supposed to start at 8pm but PIYA (a korean band n i suppose that i din spell the name wrongly n i dun really care) did an opening for em which lasted 6 songs and 45 mins. oh man. it was like, "come on get off the stage now!" they sounded average or rather monotonous for every song that they played.. but i think they'll sound ugly on the album.

there were so much pushing ard and sweat plus jumping and high in the crowd. mosh spirit.

at 920, the big guys finally came on. they set the mood going with don't stay from meteora followed by lying from you ( if i recalled correctly cuz i was simply too amazed and awed by em that i cant rmb half of the show this morn. like damn.) the next piece was most prob papercut which was really well played cuz i tot chaz's "the sun goes down" was so deafening! and the show goes on and on which i cant recall now.. ah!! oh ya.. they did faint too plus the popppish in the end, those really got the crowd going. i love it when they did krwlng/crawling! a mixed btw the remix n the original sound and i tot it was solid. then mike shinoda played breaking the habit on an organ (doesn't seem to be the right spelling) n thats like how rare la! it was such an OH-MY-GOD situation! the effect was really great, cuz to think that he spent 6 yrs trying to put together this track and playing it acoustic live with chaz's pure voice.. how dope is that? they fin off with the shut up song, one step closer.

sang n jing: i cant bliff that we sat under the sun for more 12 hrs.. oh man. ive got nothing more to say.

suddenly i rmb how young at heart i still am. memories of me and sang trying to grab their albums asap for the past few yrs, n us trying to get their 'banned' videography from k.l. plus, the ultimate LP dedication to most wanted (which laid ard the studio for a pathetic few mths n gone aft that T_T).. i miss those days. dey all came back.. on the 22nd june.

like i dunno know this.. but the band was awesome.
